neulanc currently uses no analytics or marketing cookies. We use browser-local storage for your language and privacy choice; optional external content loads only after permission.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can store in a browser and retrieve later. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps information on the device. Legal rules can apply to both technologies.
2. What neulanc stores
| Name | Technology | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
preferred-locale | Local Storage | Remembers the selected language. | Until manually deleted | Necessary |
neulanc-consent-v1 | Local Storage | Remembers the optional-service choice. | 180 days; then requested again | Necessary |
These entries do not assign a unique user identifier and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Optional external content
If you accept optional services, the portfolio page may load MathJax from jsDelivr to render mathematical notation. This creates a direct connection to the CDN provider. neulanc itself sets no analytics or marketing cookie in this process, although the external provider may process technical request data.
If you choose “Necessary only”, this external service is not loaded. The website remains usable, although mathematical notation may appear as text.
4. Changing your choice
You can reopen the choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. A new choice replaces the previous one. Alternatively, delete the website data in your browser settings.
5. Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to inspect and delete stored website data. If necessary storage is blocked, language and privacy choices may not be retained for a later visit.
