2. Website delivery and server logs
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process connection data required for technical delivery. This can include the IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser, operating system and HTTP status.
Processing serves secure and stable delivery, error analysis and abuse prevention. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Local storage and consent
neulanc stores the selected language and your optional-service choice in your browser’s local storage. This information is required to preserve your chosen settings. The consent choice is requested again after 180 days.
You can change the decision at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer or by deleting website data in your browser.
4. Optional external service: MathJax
The portfolio page can load MathJax from jsDelivr to render mathematical notation. It is requested only after you accept optional services. This establishes a technical connection to the CDN provider’s servers; in particular, the IP address, request time, requested file and browser information may be transmitted.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Depending on technical delivery, data may be processed outside the EEA. Before publication, the provider, contractual basis and specific transfer safeguards must be verified against the actual hosting setup.
5. External links and contacting us
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Strava, Instagram, X and other external services establish a connection only when clicked. From that point, the relevant provider’s privacy terms also apply.
If you contact us by email, the information you provide is processed to handle your request. Depending on its content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted when no longer required to deal with the request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Recipients and processors
Data is disclosed to technical service providers only where required for operation, security or a function you requested. Where required, processor agreements are concluded under Article 28 GDPR.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have the following rights in particular:
- Access to personal data being processed (Article 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16)
- Erasure or restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18)
- Data portability where applicable (Article 20)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Article 7(3))
